Google has become a nearly $1 trillion monster company – almost entirely by collecting our digital data…and selling advertisers access to it.

The Evidence Google’s Systematic Theft is Anti-Competitive
And Google LOVES to steal Intellectual Property (IP) – the patents, trademarks and copyrights of others.

Which brings us to Google’s biggest copyright heist of all.
Supreme Court Agrees to Decide Google v. Oracle:
“The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has agreed to decide whether Google should have to pay Oracle billions of dollars for infringing on its copyright of 37 Java APIs Google used in its Android operating system….”
Oracle originally sued Google in 2010. These court cases take a lot of freaking time.
Oracle and Google have each along the way received court victories – which the other then appealed up the judicial food chain. All the way to the Supreme Court’s November decision to take the case.
Given Google’s lifelong history of mass theft – anyone with an IQ above nine on a warm day would instantaneously and emphatically believe Oracle.
That being said: Does the evidence say Google stole Oracle’s copyrighted Java APIs? Is this Pope a Communist?:
“‘Using Java APIs, developers can create new projects faster because they do not have to develop entirely new code. They can instead use Java APIs in a sort of cut-and-paste fashion, saving them time on grunt work and enabling them to focus more on innovation.’
“Java is ‘free and open’ – which means any and everyone can use it.
“With two conditions:
“You either make free and open – i.e. public – what you developed atop the Java base.
“Or
“You get a license from Oracle to use their Java.
“And here’s a surprise:
“Often, Oracle charges literally nothing for the license.
“All you have to do – is keep the Java software you use compatible. You cannot do anything to it – that might make it no longer play well with Java.
“Google – shocker – did none of the above. They took Oracle’s Java, remade it in their image – and then began playing hide and seek with the courts.”
Why is Google’s heist valued in the billions of dollars? Because Google stole Oracle’s Java – to build its Android smartphone operating system:
“Ten years ago, Google realized that they needed a product to compete in the mobile operating space. The space was dominated by their competitors – Apple, Microsoft – and consumer demand for smartphone technology was intensifying.
“To get a jump start on that, (Google)…copy/pasted code from Oracle, the database company – code they knew was copyrighted.
“In fact, at the time Google was in negotiations with Oracle to license the code in order to jump-start development of Android. They decided to walk away from those negotiations and opted for theft in the hopes they would muscle their way out of it in future litigation.”
And how’s Google’s Android doing?
Android Now the World’s Most Popular Operating System
Android’s operating system – is on more than 40% of all global mobile devices.
And Android’s operating system – is built upon cornerstone code stolen from Oracle.
The Java API facts are indisputable.
So too is Google’s eternal history of stealing everything they can.
The Supreme Court’s decision – should be an exceedingly easy one.
